Forum Terms of service

Using the forum. By registering on this forum, you agree to use it properly, and to refrain from posting any content that is aggressive, offensive, defamatory, hateful, or in violation of applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to post messages inciting or evoking illegal practices, or violating the terms of use of the service.

The moderators and administrators of this forum will do their best to delete or edit any reprehensible messages that may be posted on the forum. You acknowledge that all messages posted on this forum express the opinion of their respective authors, and do not necessarily reflect the position of the moderators and administrators.

In order to ensure the moderation of this forum, any message violating the preceding provisions may be edited or deleted without notice by the moderators and administrators of the forum. Any abuse may also be sanctioned by banning or deleting the user account. We reserve the right to inform your access provider and/or the judicial authorities of any malicious behaviour.

Your personal data. By registering on this forum, you agree that it may collect some of your personal data. This data collection is done either through the information you provide us, or through the use of the services itself, for technical data used for the forum proper functioning. 1. Respect all the staff.
This should be common sense, to be frank. These people go out of their way to help make sure you get to have a fun time on the site. The least you could do is respect them. You don't have to like them, just respect them.
2. Respect other users.
More common sense. You don't have to like a person, you just have to be nice.
3. Do not spam.
Spam is something very annoying, like posting many emoticons, or using the same letter/number/symbol repetitively. You may only use up to five emoticons in one post, as long as they are different. You may only use two of the same emoticon in one post. As for letters/numbers/symbols, you may only use up to four in a row. Anything more than that will be considered spam.
4. Do not flame or troll other users.
This goes with respecting other users. Outside of roleplaying, you may not say anything to intentionally hurt another user. You may also not troll people, which is posting something to hurt someone or to start an argument.
5. Outside of your profile, signature, and the Affiliations and Advertisements board, you may not advertise.
If we allowed people to advertise wherever they wanted, we would lose a lot of users. I know you want to get a lot of people onto your site, but we, also, need people on this site so everyone can have fun.
6. Follow the Forumotion Terms of Service.
If you don't follow that, then we could very well get shut down.
7. Keep it appropriate.
Nothing R-rated, please. There could be children here. No pornography, nudity, sexism, racism, or anything like that.
8. No swearing.
This kind of branches off of the keeping it appropriate. You may only say "hell," "ass," and "damn." No swear-acronyms, and no self-censoring.
9. Do not create multiple accounts to get around a ban.
You'll probably just end up permanently getting banned if you do.
10. Whatever the administrators say goes.
The other admins and I have the final say on any topic.
